Consistency

Good Evening.

The only thing consistent about my writing is my inconsistency to write anything.

Since the last time I made a post a lot has happened. I went to my first air show with Tim which was a lot of fun. For days after the show I almost missed the sounds of planes (it was a little strange).

The air show really helped me to understand the reason that Tim loves what he does so much. I also went up north to Ohio with him for his cousin's wedding. 

Ohio was very different than Florida but not in a bad way. I wish we could have spent a little more time up there but we will definitely go back together at some point.

The wedding made me feel all kinds of things. I met the other half of his family and everyone was very sweet to me. We got to dance very briefly to "I can't Help Falling in Love," which was probably for the best because it was making me feel all kinds of mushy things.

Overall I had a fantastic time. At the reception I think I had a bit of a moment of clarity. I'm going to marry him some day.

Not long after visiting I made up my mind to move down here to Ft. Pierce with him. It was a little unnerving finding a new job and getting the financial part straightened out. I was feeling really doubtful and worried a few times. It is also difficult some days being away from my immediate family.

On days like today when it was rainy and nasty but I had the day off, it would have been nice to live closer to my sister or dad. However, despite that, I am really the happiest I have been in a long time.

I love coming home to him at the end of the day and I can't imagine it being any different.

Work has been stressful and a new challenge wrapped in familiarity. I'm getting paid a little better, which God knows I need to pay off my debts. There is a lot more responsibility with this job though and I find it hard to not think about it when I am at home or off work. Overall, I really enjoy this new company though. I am enjoying the challenge and I can see myself making some half-way decent money.

I am looking forward to all the holidays coming up and the weather cooling down. My work schedule is promised to be busy because I work in the mall but that will be good for extra holiday spending money. I want to make sure I can get everybody a little something this year and if I can help it I want to shop a little early. 

Recently I have been getting back into reading. I just finished a book I had started quite a few months ago titled, "The Thirteenth Tale." It was a clever book and spooky in all the right places. I have a pinterest full of books that I want to start reading next. 

As always, I would like to start writing a little more frequently than I do. There is always a direct correlation between when I start reading and a desire to write a little bit more. Maybe I'll try to find a few writing exercises online.

I really miss our two minute prompted writing exercises in college.
